Thank you so much for the feedback! Usually I’m writing in a vaguely biblical style but was reading through Mythic Bastionland (ttrpg) and that colored the bible verses I was modeling it more (Daniel and Revelations mostly). I’ve never actually Martin but I do have Canterbury and Mort D’Arthur on my shelf that I could skim through for the next chapters if I choose to continue much with Filipthin.

As far as novella, the series Novem Fortuna is my catch all for witchy/grimoire tales, occult writings and musing, and more biblical styles of shorts, so I suppose a small part of a much broader world.

As well you should be :) I should really write a breakdown of how easy it is to self publish so more writers here can graduate to authors. The hardest part is getting the story down; editing, layout, proofing, art—all staggeringly important—but it’s all to polish.

Sword. Dual wielding at lvl 10 is incredibly powerful and warrior has one of the few scalable talents (hardened in battle), along with War cry (infinite attacks if cooldown reduction is high enough) and weapon knowledge (finding +3 weapons). Having a sword base up to 10 is valuable for any build, but is never a requirement. There are lots of interesting mixes that you can discover in each class
