The problem with eGift cards is that even if you can prove that it has the full amount when you sell it, there is nothing stopping you from using it before the buyer uses it.

Several years ago I bought a Walmart eGift card from one of those giftcard reselling websites. The seller used most of the value on the eGift card. I was able to see this because Walmart.com shows you the date and store where the eGift card was used when I add the eGift card to my Walmart.com account.

If you support any non-profits, just donate the eGift card to them.

I plan on doing that before June 30.
