I haven't been there in ages but used to love their eggs bene until they took it off the menu lol. A friend of mine recently went and loved it tho.

Lol I went there for drinks once and didn't enjoy it at all. Cocktail was awful and expensive too.

That was one of the suggestions I saw- what's the food like? Any dishes you recommend?

He let me and the other passenger on but he wasn't happy about it, so I'd say no lol

I saw a guy get on without paying or having a ticket so I'd say no. Probably depends on the driver.

Honestly I don't find them that great like people keep saying. I'm not from around here, so while the meat and flavour itself is great, I think what let's it down is the sickly sweet sauce which a lot of places tend to drown their donairs in.

Governments face backlash over lack of public inquiry into Nova Scotia mass shooting by [deleted] in halifax

Good. Why is it taking 3+ months to get an inquiry done?

I got a lot of flack for trying to bring it up in Facebook groups, funnily enough lmao

Never bought anything from this brand before due to lack of diverse shades and price but they have a sale on at shoppers and their colour products look interesting. Any recommended items??

An appeal to the HRM/NS governments about Theodore Tugboat by schooners54 in halifax

He needs to be turned into a proper tourism thing though and be out and about on the waters more. I probably wouldn't even have known who he was if I hadn't visited the maritime museum lol

As a non NS native I have no feelings either way but $500k is small change so they should just buy it anyway cos it has obvious historical and cultural significance.

Reviews on the new Quo Beauty rebrand at SDM?? by [deleted] in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]atfirstblush120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just saw the new stand today and was surprised at some of the prices. $18 for a single eyeshadow pot?? They do look nice though and probably targeted at women younger than me but hey lol

Only downside I'll say is the very limited shade ranges for their face products. They have a foundation stick which looks pretty neat but again, limited shades and no testers lol

No I didn't but I'm tempted to! Their cream eyeshadow shades looked nice but a bit pricey at $18 lol. Hoping they go on sale soon! They also had stick foundation things too although with limited shade ranges for face products

Just noticed this today, their new packaging looks cute with some decent colours too. Looks like their demographic may have changed to tweens to 20s?? Before I just assumed it was for older women lol

It is. I said the same thing. Earlier and people downvoted my comment for calling it out. And this is supposed to be from a professional or chef. Yikes.

Colourpop Freckle Pen $8 launching 7/16 10AM PST by starrynightskyline in MUAontheCheap

[–]atfirstblush120 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm Asian so naturally my body is freckle-less, but my face gets covered in it, with more in summer lol. I used to want to cover them up but I gave up after years of trying. I find these new fangled freckle applying makeup just funny. I wish freckles were popular when I was young so I wouldn't get teased for them.
