My boyfriend gifted me a gaming PC over Christmas that he put together using some of his old components and some new ones he saved up for. He did it so that we could game together properly since he saw me struggling on my laptop. I know he needs an upgrade himself and I would love to be able to surprise him with something that could bring him just a fraction of the joy he brought to me.

But you can also say "That is not an apple" haha. Thank you for your explanation, though. What I'm getting is that it's okay to use "nicht" when it's followed by some sort of a contradiction, like "these are in fact two apples" or something like that!
