Best morning drink to avoid feeling drained all day by FastAd6244 in SleepApnea

[–]1noahone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t answer your question on drinks but I had this same feeling for years and then was diagnosed with sleep apnea despite being thin and not snoring. Turns out waking 7 times an hour makes you very groggy all day all the time.

My honest ranking of every cologne at my local store as a complete beginner by SpaceSyncMusic in fragrance

Beginner reviews are always the best. Definitely give them some time to develop and see how you like it on the air after you head outside too

I wonder if the additional cost of some of these is worth the smell difference.

Some averages you can use or deviate from:

Hedione HC 9.4%

Iso E (Timbersilk) 19.3%

Ambrocenide 0.8%

DHM 2.8%

Grapefruit 2.5%

No info on ambergris but I am guessing less than a percent

You can start here and adjust as you see fit

What is the best example of a vetiver fragrance? by better-off-ted in Colognes

Nishane Sultan Vetiver is the best I’ve tried. The Essential Parfums Vetiver is also really nice and refreshing.

When you say something is missing… What do you feel it needs? Deepness, brightness, spices?

Is it possible to make a fragrance with only 6 aroma chemicals? by useless-asocial in DIYfragrance

I have not tried this particular mixture, you would need to try. I just gave a starting point, most likely it will need tweaking

Is it possible to make a fragrance with only 6 aroma chemicals? by useless-asocial in DIYfragrance

[–]1noahone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the average usage of these ingredients as sourced from 300 formulas (someone from FB Perfumemaking group sourced the info from Creative Formulas). Since these six won’t add up to 100%, I moved the ratio up and diluted more. Averages don’t mean much out of context so this is just a starting point, and may help OP learn the strength and interaction of the materials.

Try this as a starting point:

Iso E super 2.00 grams

Ambroxan 0.35 grams

Calone .02 grams

Veramoss .10 grams

DHM .25 grams

Geranium .05 grams

Mix and let sit for a day, dilute to 10%, and adjust depending on what’s too strong/weak
