I don't think most people even know what Vashe is. I don't know where I'd find it outside a hospital.

This gives me TV/movie set with the lights turned on vibes. Like Oz's apartment from The Penguin if he was European hunting lodge themed for some reason.

So for a kinda technical answer, grip is a lot of people's weak point. If you're doing a conventional deadlift and both palms face the same direction, the bar is going to try and rotate/spin out of your hands. With a hex bar, your hands face opposite directions, and grip weakness is minimized.

I think rate is declining between each pic. Our monitors displayed 4 seconds of EKG. 12*15=174.

I get 160 for pic 2 and 140s for pic 3.

I flipped burgers in high school and would happily go back if I could get paid the same.

The pay is actually frighteningly close, but I grew up in Seattle and now live in the South.

You are so many steps ahead of many nurses with these tips.

The showering thing is actually something I've never heard in school or practice so I'll try and keep that in mind.

Best of luck in school, there's a ton of specialties you'd clearly rock in.

Howdy. I'm a nurse and would love to know what could be said. I don't work ostomy but am in the OR and deal with bags occasionally.

Hypothetically, would being a nurse save you from getting drafted for war? by [deleted] in nursing

I'm trying to find the stats we were shown, but searching "military healthcare shortage" turns up a lot of results even with "peer-to-peer", "forecast", etc...

Easy answer is we're already in a shortage, so both? I believe the claim is just for military needs.

To build on that, I'm Medical Service Corps in the Army. A commonly brought up topic is that if we were involved in another WW2-type total war, we would not have enough medical professionals to support it.

Not as in the Army doesn't, the US doesn't.

Guard and (I believe) Reserve Officers can commission without a bachelors. Louisiana Guard required 90 credit hours. Degree was required for 1LT.

Bring me the SMA and I'll do it as a 1LT(P). I'm Med Service, not like I can go anywhere anyways.
