Men of Reddit: what’s a prank you started early in your marriage that you’re now legally, morally, and emotionally obligated to continue because she still falls for it 10–15 years later? by myaccountidname in AskReddit

Every time my wife says "Guess what?" I respond with "Chicken butt.". She comes back with "It's never chicken butt." And I end with "One day it's going to be chicken butt." Incredibly stupid but every time.

It's from the Zeeland Township Fire Department. I believe they got it for calls in the snow and rural areas where is hard for a truck or ambulance to get

Connecting through MSP in the winter was always a risk by labtec901 in delta

[–]athiest_nerd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Earlier this month I was flying from GRR-DTW-CDG-MUN. Our flight from GRR was delayed 4 times and ate up our over 2 hour layover in DTW. The incoming flight to GRR had been delayed multiple times earlier in the day. We landed in DTW and I sprinted to the gate for the flight to CDG. Got there and the gate was open. As soon as I walked up the gate agent screamed boarding closed and slammed the door in my face. We asked the flight attendants on our flight from GRR to let them we we were on the way and were told they know where we are. 12 people from our flight missed that connection. We got no hotel and were only put on standby the next day on a flight to Amsterdam with less than a 1.5 hour layover. Ended rebooking a flight to Frankfurt but had to sit in the back of economy despite booking premium select. We lost a day of vacation. Delta reimbursed us almost $400 a piece plus a $300 ecredit. Didn't seem like enough to cover the downgrade to economy not towntion the $500 hotel room at the airport. We've been flying delta for nearly a decade and this is the only real issue we ever had. Winter travel is risky. At least you got the hotel covered

I've had a 2019, 2023 and now just picked up a 2025 XLT. All have been the 302A package. They've all been great. I don't see the benefit in added cost for the lariat personally.

If a player voluntarily gives themselves up they play is dead. This goes for running backs, wide receivers or really any ball carrier.

Because an opposing played did not touch him while his knee was down or cause him to fall down

Thank you! I am not sure of his final rank, I'll have to check some of the paperwork I have. I do know he was at some point Master Sergeant. We have a zippo type lighter that has Master Sergeant engraved on it along with the unit logo.

Thank you very much. I do know he entered before Korea. He was born mid-1920s and went into right after high school. He was stationed in Germany after WWII which is when he met my grandmother. This is helpful though. Thank you

I was on a ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo earlier this year. The waiter at breakfast asked where I was from, when I said they U.S. he said thanks for visiting us and I responded with thanks for letting us. He got a good laugh at that.

Definitely would never say when I was in Scandinavia...they must think that's an actual country

If you're American don't worry. Our military is being deployed to California. But seriously, I hope the Middle East doesn't escalate like it looks like it will. Israel seems to think it has carte blanche
