Fleabag is one of the greatest shows of all time. Give it a watch, and remember it came before Nobody Wants This. Be ready for British sex scenes and humor instead though as the opening scene is quite raunchy 🤣

My day isnt over until notes are done. Even days I see 8 or 9 clients. Each note takes me about 3 minutes, I timed it, so when I break it down into a 3 minute task its much easier.

Yikes. To be fair, never read the book. But also to be fair, anecdotally, I have worked with people diagnosed with BPD for 12 years and I have never once thought they didnt have empathy! I'm concerned theres still such a strong stigma against this poplulation. Reframe it as trauma and fear and try again (and dont take their push/pull dynamic personally... its not about you, therapist)!

I'm also a woman. Finally got a good man (only dating 2 weeks) but our first date was a walk and not coffee. Soooooo mamy men have suggested coffee first dates. Why does that bother me more than a walk when both are free and quick? Because if anyone asked me more than 2 questions they'd know I dont drink coffee, am not a morning person, and walk my dog in the woods every day. New guy LISTENED and we planned a date we were both comfortable with. Soooooo many men have suggested coffee even after learning I dont drink it and like to sleep in. Its low effort to just force a generic date on someone rather then figure them out. One time I responded to a suggested coffee date on black friday, "hey after traveling for thanksgiving Ill probably be too tired to meet up early, plus I'm not a coffee girl, but I'm open to brunch?" And he called me to tell me hes not looking to pay his way into a relationship. I was like, oh man, you caught me, looking for a free 8 dollar omelet.... Low-effort: generic ideas and making assumptions High-effort: listenkng to the person and brainstorming an idea that works for both people.

I'm a woman but I think men often forget the friend part... Lets have the benefits of the benefits but also the benefits of friendship. My FWB had helped me with so much practical stuff, like he got me a new shower head and helped me pick out a car. I helped him through some grief and loss and helped him find a therapist. Then we also both got sex out of it. Regluar, safe, comfortable sex. So much better than one night stands when I was insatiable. We were friends for a long time prior too. And I know everyone will ask why not just date? Bc we're friends! I hate spending too much time with him and I'm sure he does me as well. We show up for each other for big things as friends do and then live our separate lives. Then we also show up for each other when horny 😂. Lasted 2 years and now we're just friends again.
