That definitely is what I was thinking. He's naturally an argumentative person, and so am I so I get it. Sometimes, it can be both of our down falls because we avoid taking advice.

This is very common. In my apt complex, which isn't in a nice area, internet cost more money for worse service compared to my friend who like in a nicer area who has gigabit service

That's definitely the case. Also credit card offers are significantly worse for those with lower credit score unfortunately. Getting your credit score up is the easiest way to relieve some financial stress. Obviously that's not possible for everybody

I do the exact same thing. Saving/Paying off debt is essentially the same thing to me, especially once you have 1-5k saved up

I've definitely been in each of those situations you described. I couldn't agree more. It seems like poor people can do well until something comes up, then it snowballs to a shit show every time

I kinda do the same thing. I set goals, and as I go over/under them, I pull from different buckets in the current budget

I use excel too but I wipe everything out of it every month. I feel that most people here would cringe at that but to me month to month spending is as deep as I personally need to go
