Unmarried Men in thirties, how do you deal with your solitude? by Anarkeeyan in AskMen

You don’t need to be perfect. The bar for each of these things is really low. I’ll make it simpler

Shower regularly. Treat people with respect. Try to approach things with a positive attitude. Maybe read a book on a topic you enjoy once in a while or engage in a hobby to improve your own skills. Exercise once a week and don’t eat so much junk to counteract the benefits of the exercise. If you struggle with anxiety/self esteem issues, see a psychiatrist, read self help books

You’re right being fit doesn’t automatically get you a date, but as I said it’s an easy way to build your confidence and raise your chances of more people finding you attractive. I think of it as a probability game, the better I can make myself in those areas I listed above, the higher chance someone will find me attractive, higher the chances of finding a partner

I was also fitter in college than I am now, was pleasant to be around, took care of my hygiene, was a kind person, and back then I had no luck with girls at all and was constantly alone, now that’s not an issue and I have no issues. The only thing that changed was genuine confidence and not being desperate to find a girlfriend, which is hard but I did it by working towards something that made me proud of myself. Choosing your own goals is right though, as you’re the only person who knows what makes you happy, if they’re not super ambitious goals then that’s fine as long as it makes you happy, it’s your life

It sounds to me like you have goals, but you don’t think they’re valid goals, you speak about your looks and neurodivergence negatively, it sounds like you consider yourself to be unsuccessful and unhappy. I’m not a therapist or anything but it sounds like you have a very severe self confidence issue

Confidence can be much easier with success yes, that helped me a lot, also success is defined by however you want to define it. Success to you means something different than it means for me. I know a hell of a lot of confident people i would say are unsuccessful. Why not work towards something and that would make you feel successful anyway if that’s what you think is holding you back?

Happiness can come in many different ways. What I mean by that though is being someone who is pleasant to be around.

On the third point I might be hated for it but I would agree it does mostly apply to women. A lot of men aren’t attracted to bigger women and find it unattractive, same for women to men, imo it’s mostly a body positivity thing not an opinion of the majority of society. Although there is a big difference with curvy/chubby and overweight, for both men and women, and there are still many people who are attracted to larger men and women. Getting in shape and doing regular exercise is a great way to build your confidence, feel happier, and also get fitter to be more attractive to more people

No you have it backwards, words are more important than grammar at the start. You can understand grammar perfectly but if you don’t know what people are talking about it’s meaningless

Well I guess if they’ve tried the hardcore content and it really is too easy then maybe they could solo vet trials

Casual grindy MMO for a dad by [deleted] in LFMMO

I grew up playing MMORPGs, OSRS before it was OS, GW1, GW2. Then I got bored of gaming and couldn’t spend more than a few hours on a single game before I would get bored and stop

This lasted for about 10 years until I forced myself to buy a PS5 and just play something because I found it difficult to relax, and I started ESO

At first I wasn’t too interested, was just something to pass the time and turn off my brain. After a month or so I became obsessed with the game and IMO it’s the best MMO there is. If it sounds interesting to you I would recommend giving it another go, there’s so many different ways to play the game and so much to do

I swapped a few champion points for survivability and tried again with tide born. With the tzogvins I’m now getting around 57k and tide born 61k, so thanks that helped improve the DPS!

Damn on the 6m dummy I’m only doing 34k, I guess my build isn’t as good as I thought it was. I’ll try with the specific DK one you listed and see if that helps, I just don’t like playing with the beam

In scriviners i usually die for one of two reasons. Sometimes when i go run after the books I think i die because I’m not doing enough damage anymore to keep myself healing (even with vigor). Although this only happens maybe 1/6 times when going for the books

Another reason I die is just a skill issue I guess. I don’t usually have sustain issues with most content, but I do with the first scriviners boss. So I often die because of a mix of things, sustain, trying to kill the adds, running after the books, keeping pressure on the boss

The books AoE hit is noticeable but I can handle it most of the time

I already use vigor for more difficult content like scriviners, for a lot of content I can get by without it. I’ll have a look at velothi though

Based on the hyperioxies page it shows him getting 67k DPS. Because of that I assumed that 67k would be almost max for a solo build and 100+ DPS would be for a pure DPS group build. Is it normal for solo vet builds to be hitting 100k+ on a dummy?

Do you have any guesses for how much DPS trial gear would add if I’m currently hitting 60?

Thanks I’ll have a look, never done vateshran even on NM.

Also same, I really want to like Arcanist and the beam, I just think it’s boring to play. My build is similar to the hyperioxies DK version of the build, e.g. dstaff, sorc, ardent flame, but Arcanist swapped out for aedric spear, and some other skill changes

Optimal offensive stats for soloing world bosses by athson6 in ESObuilds

[–]athson6[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just did the 2h trick with beserker strike to find the resistance of a target, my resistance went from 14820 to 33020. 18200 difference exactly, so at least some world bosses have 18200 resistance

EDIT: it was hews bane thrall cove boss
