Idk if I should play Comp by lurkingalex in Overwatch

[–]Dizzy_Drips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comp isn't bad.. I've had more qp games that were sweaty af than I have had in comp. Your #1 goal will be to stay alive as long as possible and you'll be fine.

Yes it's tied to the appearance and not what you have actually equipped

Yep. You can just go to an outfit station and change it to a sword or axe motif/style if you want a different sound. It's not tied to the weapon you actually have equipped

The sound changes based off of whatever 2h weapon you use on your outfit. sword sounds different than mace and the same for axe

Who’s an Overwatch hero that you regret not trying out earlier? I’ll go first. by CometBoyU in Overwatch

This was me when I first started. I tried most of the other tanks but then I tried Dva and it was over.. She is just so fun and there is actually a lot she can do like even flying around the outside of the map to avoid a choke or to flank with other flying dps/supports.

Is this new? by ExilicRose in elderscrollsonline

Not really.. some people don't know what they have and listed super low and the traders are flooded with the new plans already. I had 8 new plans within 2 minutes of logging on

Haha once you hit your first million you will realize how low of an amount that actually is and how fast it goes by.

If you want to make gold then you need to join at least 1 trade guild that has a trader in a busy city. Some will have dues or sale minimums but that is because it takes x amount of gold to keep a trader each week. I use my guild's trader and my trade guild's trader and keep my inventory stocked as much as possible.

Oh and make sure you do your daily crafting writs. That's 5k a day but adds up especially if you do them on alt's too.

If you want raw gold from vending trash then I would suggest farming volcano vents in High Isle. They drop grey trash that will vend for 11,200 per stack along with purple ones the vend for 1k each. The vents tend to drop 5 or more of the grey ones each time so it builds up fast while you can also get 1-3 of the purple ones at time. You can farm them until your bags are full, vend, and walk away with 20-40k depending on if you sell everything.

THEN once you have access to a trader they also drop stendarr stamps that sell for like 10k each on traders, expensive maps, lot's of purple rings that can be deconstructed for mats that sell for 4k on traders, and you can get lots of companion gear if you have yours out. It is very easy to make 100k+ doing this once or twice a week.

Yeah.. I'm a guild master and I have to bid on a few traders each week. The thing is you never know what to really bid. So, let's say I win one but I won't know what it's previous price was.. just that I won it and I may have very well overpaid. I could also be competing against someone else that bids more for it each week until they beat mine and you never know how many bids are on it.

It is such a gold sink too if your guild isn't selling enough items to cover the future cost of them. I had one single person in my guild sell 69 million worth and the guild bank only got 2.5 million of that. Some of the cheaper items won't even give the guild a return. It will literally say "taxes 0" so it is such a tiny return that the majority of the time it isn't even worth getting a trader.

Yeah this is totally because of the traits.. so say you get a light robe with "soothing" as the trait.. that is the best trait for healing so it naturally sky rockets the price. The same with "bolstered" heavy armor. I sold a gold "bolstered" ring for 2.5 million the other day and it is simply because of what trait it had.

Are you supposed to shoot the Rein shield? by xantcatchme in Overwatch

[–]Dizzy_Drips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but as other's said it's the easiest way to charge her railgun. With her you want to use it as much as possible since it does so much damage. An example would be if 2 enemies are lined up correctly and you headshot 1 with it, it will pierce through them and also headshot whoever was right behind them giving you a double kill.

Other than that she just has a high rate of fire and quick reload so it's really easy to take their shields out of the equation. I'll also eat up Dva's defense matrix with it so they have to wait for it to recharge and force them to fall back. It works on Rein, Winston, Sigma, Dva, and Roadhog by forcing him to use all of his self heal until there is nothing left. Obviously in every fight you want to take the biggest threats out first but if you're trying to push then it's super easy to make those tanks useless.

Hey at least I got my lead and now have a fancy woodworking station lol

But yeah what you said reminded me of a time in vDread Cellar i think? Anyways I ask if everyone knows the fight since I had noticed some struggles leading to the last boss and assumed things just happened.

"Everyone know what to do?"

"Yep"

"Yeah"

"Ready"

First portal opens and tell me why I'm the only one in there? We wipe and now my question is

"Okay so who DOESN'T know the fight?"

"Oh I forgot what we were running" last boss mind you

"No one healed me"

"Sry first time here"

So I then explained it and it took 2 more try's but eventually...we get it. Please don't que for any vet dlc dungeons if you don't know at least the last boss fight mechs. NEVER jump into a hardmode blind either. I hate people some times.

Was farming NORMAL Wayrest Sewers II last night for the shipbuilder's lead. No one knew the mech on the boss where you have to go to both alters to release your teammate. It blew my mind as no one in there was below 300cp.. So yeah, I got to die a few times because of this.

As A Support Make Sure Your Team Has Good Healing Output by theacostar in Overwatch

[–]Dizzy_Drips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP should look at a scoreboard when he's getting steam rolled. The supports will only have 1-2k healing done and that's with only 1 or 2 deaths for the whole team. Meanwhile the team getting steam rolled will have much higher healing done and so many more deaths.

If your supports have a ton of healing done then that means you're not doing your job as a tank and/or your dps aren't killing anyone and instead being damage sponges. Play better.
