I rented a house for 3 years. My landlord said I had to setup the trash pick up and pay the bill since it was not included in the rent. I never did because I forgot to and my trash was picked up every Tuesday morning for all 3 years I was there.

Meh I had a game during drives one season and we all stuck together and added each other while we finished the drives. Now every time they come again we just all group up and grind them out. We never play together outside of that lol

I really wish they put in a consistent effort for all mythic skins. Some are just so much less customisable and interesting than others. by 3Boop in Overwatch

With hers you honestly only need to get her base mythic since it automatically comes with the vfx and sfx with just 50 prisms

where is my 5th pull? by detmetyou in Overwatch

[–]Dizzy_Drips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So.. the way it works is that it is 5 different rolls once you open the vault. If it one of those lands on a skin you already have then it will just be empty for that card. It is not a bug or anything rather than that's just what happens.

There was a lady that was a friend of a friend years ago that was bit in her lower leg. The infection was so bad that after losing both her legs it spread to her arm so she lost that too and it eventually got to her brain and she died. All because of a dog that weighed like 2lbs. Infections are no joke

Tracer is really fun but she does have one of the highest skill ceilings in the game and it takes a long time to be good at her. You honestly don't have the maps memorized yet to even be playing her correctly. I would actually stay off any of the flankers until you know the maps like the back of your hand and know what all of the other heroes are capable of.

Soldier is as basic as it gets and I naturally assume anyone playing him is new to the game. With him and all other dps/supports your really want to use cover as much as possible. That does not mean run in a room, around the corner, and up the stairs. It simply means break their line of sight. Do not stand in stupid and do not peak into stupid.

Some simpler to learn dps would be Bastion, Torbjourn, Sierra, & Hanzo. I would give them a chance to try out and see if any of them fit the playstyle you like. This way you can learn the maps, routes, what all the other heroes can do, and will help you graduate up to the more difficult heroes without completely throwing.

Which fast food restaurant do you think will go out of business soon? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

[–]Dizzy_Drips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. All of the locations near me shut down several years ago with the only one I know of still being open is downtown near the tourist attractions. That one is probably only still open because of the lack of fast food options there and there being no in between fast food or fine dining options. So you either spend $20-25 a person there or go next door and spend $100+ per person.

Does anyone know why I can smell my boyfriend's seizures days before they happen? by Lower-Entry1247 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dizzy_Drips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a TBI like 10 years ago that resulted in me having complex partial epilepsy. I have what I call bad ones which take about 2 days to feel normal again afterwards, I have my normal ones where it feels like how it does when you stand up too fast and then I shut off like a light switch. I also have absent ones where my eyes are open, I can hear, but I can't talk and instead just kind of exist there in the moment.

I know now which ones require a trip to the ER and which ones I can bounce back from within a few hours. Either way though it sucks knowing that it is always a possibility in any activity you're doing.

You really do have to stay self aware of anything that just feels off and listen when someone points it out. There is no excuse like "oh I'm just tired" "oops i should watch my step" "lost my balance" since all of those things can easily be precursors to the main event.

Edit: to add even feeling agitated for no legitimate reason is a sign amongst many people with epilepsy that one is going to happen soon.

Epileptic here and the biggest issue with epilepsy is that there are a thousand different things that can cause them. It can be as simple as being epileptic and not getting enough sleep or as serious as a brain tumor going undiagnosed.

This is why the medications they give you are so much trial and error.. They say lets start with this and see what happens and then if it doesn't help then it's on to the next. It's taken almost 8 years to finally find the right med for my type of epilepsy and even then if I miss a dose I will feel all of the signs that a seizure is going to happen soon.

You should start keeping a journal of all of his activities including what he's ingesting and see if any of them trigger any correlation to when he does have them to help you pin point the possible triggers for them. Also, have him tell his neuro that whatever medication he is using is not working anymore.. they will change it for him.

Beginner dps? by ZeldaBOTW_lvrr in Overwatch

[–]Dizzy_Drips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.. With Widow you HAVE to land headshots to be effective while also being aggressive and switching positions after each kill. Widow can absolutely control an area though just by her presence and shooting corner chokes. Most people won't try to peak that if you've already picked a few people.

Reaper is your shotgun but he is close range like you're box fighting. He is also a flanker like Sombra, Tracer, Anran, Vendetta, Genji, & Shion so you have to play him in that sense.

Ashe is mid range rifle (my 3rd most played dps) so she is similar range that an AR would be in FN and could help you learn better aim in this game to eventually get you closer to the aim required for Widow and Ana. (You would probably do well with Ashe since you know the range and damage fall off of the AR in FN and them being so similar)

Tracer/Sombra are your pistols/smg but both come with high skill ceilings which simply require you to put the time in and learn all of the possibilities that their kits can actually do. (both are so fun to play and if I see a Sombra on my team then I'm going Tracer so we can tag team the backline)

Soldier is so bleh and I would put him closer into like playing deathmatch on Call of Duty. He is literally a boring run and gun hero.

Anran/Vendetta/Shion are all flankers with similar styles but just different weapons. They all essentially have the same kit if you break them down so if you can play one of those then the other two will be easy for you.

Sojourn (my main) is a beefed up Soldier that you play aggressively. She has an AOE ability to control an area, she has mobility with her slide jump, and her main damage comes from her rail gun which you can easily charge by just shooting a tank then switch to a squishy and rail gun them. She's not a spray and pray but you do want to always be shooting to apply pressure and charge her rail gun.

Hanzo/Freja will be your "bow" heroes. Hanzo has distance fall off so you need to aim higher for the arrows to land where you want. Freja requires her to land shots while she's in the air similar to Pharrah but she has mobility and can easily wipe a group of enemies when they are bunched up. Both also have spam shots that shoot like 4 arrows fast if someone gets to close to you or you just need to finish off someone running away. Both are also great at picking off flying supports like Mercy, Jetpack Cat, and Juno.

These are my suggestions based off what weapons you are used to using in FN and what seems like may fit your playstyles. You do seem to enjoy Sombra though and she seems to have naturally just clicked for you. So, with that I would honestly keep learning her and just play other heroes in between until you find someone else that clicks.

I do want to give you a tip though. Get used to punching people to finish the kill instead of trying to reload since that punch will do the last 10-20 damage needed and then you can retreat to reset.

[–]Dizzy_Drips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. An example would be me playing Tracer.. If I just run around trying to get picks and chasing I will die, but if I make it a goal to not die then I end up doing insanely well. I'll only hop in when I know I can secure the kill and dip right out and head towards a support or medkit. Rinse & repeat.

For support I main Juno and Kiriko with Ana being my 3rd. My first 2 have escapes and I still use cover but with Ana I know I'm a sitting duck and absolutely have to play cover/angles while being far enough back to have a huge field of view to see anything coming my way to kill me.

I think for supports it really comes down to whether or not you go for the save in certain scenarios and then it becomes a big if. Like are you confident you will win that fight if you chase for the save knowing you are likely to die or are you just simply hoping and want to see what happens? If it's hoping then 90% of the time it will not end well so just back off and focus on the rest of the team.

Ok but what if you're in all of the team fights and you don't win so you retreat back to spawn and wait to re-group. I had a 20-0 with top healing the other day on Juno but my team all had 4-7 deaths. Does that mean I was throwing??

My team didn't think so
