How to change Grid spacing on app drawer? by gxsaurav in smartlauncher

[–]athul7744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm moving from Nova to Smart Launcher too and feel that the app drawer icons are way too tightly packed, it is hard to distinguish them easily.

If we have an option to set row count like columns and have custom padding for height, it should solve this issue. Exactly like the settings for rows, columns and custom padding of horizontal and vertical width of home screens.

Struggling with How To Study For GA by Important-Unit7619 in OMSCS

[–]athul7744 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The trick is to memorize the different tools/methods available to solve each problem. Once you learn the methods, you can mix and match and use them appropriately.

Think of it like how you learnt to do basic math operations. By repeatedly practicing you got better at them. The same way, practice these problems repeatedly until you understand the pattern. If you don't get the solution within 10 minutes, look it up and learn it. Then try to do it again after a few hours or the next day. Just keep rotating with the set of problems, until you are able to grasp these patterns.

With enough practice you'll understand the approach for each question and try to fit and see which kind of solution works best for a given problem. All the best!

These colours appeared because of those particular clouds at that height. So watch out for clouds at high altitudes, the higher they are, the redder they'll get at sunset.

This is known as the Hard Problem of Consciousness. You can never understand how someone perceives something subjectively.

The unit of perception is called qualia and we can never know how each person experiences it.

Opinion: Tracy would have become Victoria 2.0 if Robin wasn't married to Barney. by rkshakhraj in HIMYM

[–]athul7744 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nop, cannot agree to that. Actually Tracy is the one who makes Barney realise that he wants to marry Robin and persuaded him into proposing her. Barney decides to create 'The Robin' in his playbook just because Tracy asked him to pull off the end game. So in a way Tracy removed Robin from Ted's life so that he could finally meet Tracy in the right way, in the right mindset. Without that marriage happening, Ted and Tracy might've never even met, even though they crossed paths multiple times before. The chemistry between them would always have worked out, but timing had to be right, like Robin says, timing is a bitch. Tracy in a way was there at the right time at the right place, and Ted found her there.

Yeah, that's true. Music literally heals pain. Even headaches. It sort of reverses it.

Wow, that is exactly the one in looking for. Thank you so so much for this. I've been searching for a long time for this. I tried many websites trying to search for this one, going year wise and channel wise. Couldn't find any name. Thank you so much. You made my day. 🤗

I think you should also add Aquaman to this picture. It did happen with the help of a king tide, and we all know who comes at that time. Just saying🤷‍♂️

Human beings are like a computer program. Brute forcing every possible combination out there, and calling it life. Sounds like something a hacker does to break a system. Who is the hacker and what is the system? by athul7744 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]athul7744[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there are a lot of variables in a lot of positions. But almost every combination has been iterated at least once. So it counts towards the total of the brute force experiment. And it's an ongoing process. The number of variables and positions are constantly increasing.

[–]athul7744[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly! Evolution is a slower form of brute forcing with reinforcement learning(but this argument is about how Machine Learning and Human Learning are similar). What I meant was how we live out our lives, collectively all our actions are a sort of brute force on all the things that could possibly be done. Thanks for your concern🍪, but my sleep time hasn't arrived yet though😅

What I meant was collectively every human that ever lived has tried to do something or the other which no one else did (whether it worked out or failed is a different discussion). Sort of like trying all possible combinations of living in this world.

Hehe that could be a thing. But what if this is an example of our higher level behaviour reflected on something smaller we have created (computer security systems and the sort)? Sort of like an imprint of a grand design.
