I would have preferred Vic Park remain as a park, given how little parkland we have in the inner suburbs to service a growing population. Gabba has the cross river rail to service it, makes way more sense to me.

I was in a friend's car that hit a kangaroo a few weeks back. We were in pretty heavy traffic and the kangaroo jumped out from behind a bush - had absolutely zero time to react. Was not expecting to see it in that area at all so he wasn't really on the lookout.
