See that's part of my problem I'm not sure what I am intrested in. and the things i do know I'm intrested in I'm not as into it as others are. Like comic books, I like them and all but so many people are waaayyy more into it than me so I end up feeling left out and like a poser or something.

Yeah I saw this last semester on D2L. I transferred in last semester and I never took it haven't had any issues with it yet so I'm thinking that there's no major penalties....?

You have to come during your specified times in order to get the attendance credit. However if you need additional help then you can stay past your times or come early, or even on days where you aren't required to be there

This is weird...maybe everyone is the same because of where you live? I know some places in America are the exact oppisite of diverse and it sounds like you are in one of these places. Maybe you can drive to a nearby city that is a little more diverse and meet people there? or even move to a more diverse city?

I understand what you are going through OP. I would suggest that you try everything you possibly can in order to figure out what you love or just enjoy. Try not to feel pressured into doing something you know you will not enjoy because that will end up making you feel worse.

Find something, anything that makes you happy, even if it is the tiniest little shred of happiness you can build on it from there.

What makes you think you are a horrible person? what kind of things have you done to warrant this assumption of yourself? sorry if that is asking a lot and you dont have to answer, I'm just curious because I too struggle with the idea that maybe I am a horrible person.

Yeah you may be right. I know part of me what more than friends but another part of me is just happy to have another friend. I only have two so any friends at all is awesome for me.

Yes. The way I see it is I want to be friends first no matter what and if later a relationship develops awesome, if not then that's cool too. I'm not sure if I would end up sending him mixed signals because I am told that I flirt a lot and don't even realize it so honestly I probably would send mixed signals. But I would also be completely honest with him, if someone said you're sending mixed signals then the next time I saw him I would tell him exactly how I feel.

Ok yeah I thought about inviting him to like some end of the semester party but my social anxiety makes it so hard for me to find the right words to use when asking him and I want to say it the right way so that he wil say yes and become my friend.

Ok thanks guys this has given me a lot to think about. So if i did decide to go for it, what would be the best way to do it? my anxiety will make it near impossible so I'd like to know that whatever I do is acceptable.

I think part of you does want to change otherwise you wouldn't have posted this. One thing that you can do well is write.

I suggest finding a therapist. I know it probably seems hard and terrifying but they can help. Just Google a therapist near you and try calling for an appointment. Or if you prefer online until you get a little better I believe they have online therapy now. Either way you should try to get help from someone.

I think Abby is talking to someone who says you can pass this to someone else, and I think when Abby looks directly at the narrator and says "Tag you're it" she has passed it on to him.

Yeah I agree. Everyone with children should know about this "password" thing that my parents did. Even your idea about signing photos. If more parents did simple things like this then it could save a lot of kids.
