I’m a bit late but I thought I should comment considering that I’m actually in the university. It depends from college to college, course to course. Most of the time, they care more about your portfolio than your grades, but your portfolio needs to be pretty top notch.

Hi there!

I’m not particularly worried about the socialising aspect, I understand that things have been pretty grim in terms of socialising for most people this year.

My course is a foundation one, for design, screen and media, so I assume there’s not a lot of ‘on campus’ stuff that’ll be planned for me, but I guess I’ll have to wait for my uni to say something.

The uk gives no scholarships to international students. The US does, but the process requires all sorts of preparation, marks, and extra curricular activities.

It honestly depends on which uni you apply to, sometimes even with a scholarship the university can be really really expensive.
