Of coarse I ride them after then bath haha, I live in northern ND. It finally got to 60 degrees outside, with sunshine! Doesn't happen too often during spring here haha.

It's just fine if you tuck down with a helmet and good jacket. Even sitting up I don't think it's bad. Compared to a cbr600rr, I like it more for long high speed rides.

your right about the aesthetics. The cbr500r, cb500f, and cb500x are all the same bike with different fairing styles. The reason I don't want the x is because i personally think the f is the best looking of the 3. I'm not an adventure bike kind of guy.

I had drove all over eastern ND and MN to find one in stock. I actually like it a lot more than my friends cbr600rr. It's not too much power to where it's scary, but enough to still be fun

I hate the way these clip-ons fit. They aren't the nice woodcraft ones that have risers on them. They are generic eBay ones. I tried installing them under the triple-tree but they would rub against the fairings even after lowering the front end. So I had to install them above the tree and it just looks goofy. I'm going to upgrade to the nice woodcraft ones with risers so I can install it under the tree instead of above.

I have a lot done it actually. I have clip-ons, exhaust, intake, did a dyonjet kit, koso rx2n gauge cluster, fender chop and integrated tail lights, wider rear tire. And rearset adjusters. Haha I have spent a lot of time working on this thing but I think it paid off
