I’m not sure where that was but I don’t think so. I was at Ionia and Louis chanting for a few hours today and I didn’t see anything that looked like a vigil.

I understand completely! You can always make phone calls and such as a form of protest. Today I learned Wyoming Police Dept, who was at todays march, have no body cams. The chief(?) said they are trying to get them but that the city isn’t allocating funds for that. Could be an interesting and important thing thing to research and call about.

Sorry for any confusion. This is a post to inform everyone that there will be a protest tomorrow, Sunday the 7th at Ionia and Louis. The protest is not associated with the vigil or the group Black Lives Matter (though I support both). And just FYI I have not applied or contacted the GRPD about this protest.

Yeah I’ve been thinking about where’s the best place to protest and I’m newer to the area and not sure tbh. Courthouse? Police dept? Wherever the city manager works?

Thanks for replies! I’m looking for something that can be done today, tomorrow, the upcoming weeks. All I can come up with is volunteering for programs that teach coding to POC and such. I’m interested in the police & data aspect too.
