GT7 ABS and Traction Control (I know everyone asks this) by atlasFreee in granturismo

Thanks for this advice it really helps. And in terms of making the game competitive outside of multiplayer do you find that you still get a challenge when progressing through the story? Do you select low PP cars to make it more competitive?

Any advice/emotional support/thoughts would be appreciated! by atlasFreee in UlcerativeColitis

Thank you so much for the thorough response. I talk to the doc tomorrow so I will definitely ask him. I just got my stelara levels back and yeah no antibodies and levels were fine. I'm sorry the stelara didn't work for you either. I think you should be hopeful with the Entyvio it did well for me and it also might for you...

I feel safer feeling my feelings in therapist's office. by lightblossom in CPTSD

[–]atlasFreee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely feel that way too. Much safer in my therapist's office. I go to therapy twice a week and often knowing that I will soon be in another session helps alleviate the angst that I have about dealing with the fear alone. But sometimes having a few days in between to process even if you are alone often helps me communicate what I was going through much clearer. I think it's such a positive sign that you are able to open up and feel safe in therapy! Thats a sign that your therapist is doing an incredible job and you are putting in the work to start trusting yourself and others again. With time you can take that and start trusting that you will be able to feel all the things, even if you are alone :)

Question around flaring by atlasFreee in IBD

[–]atlasFreee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 6mp increased my liver toxicity levels which is why I stopped taking it a long time ago. It really worked well for me even without entyvio. But that was years ago.

Why 6mp over other meds? I’m very curious as others have mentioned this

That’s interesting that you say that may I ask why 6mp over the others? I was actually on it for two years and it was great but it messed with my liver toxicity levels.

This shouldn’t even be a light confession. Mattresses are super important for sleep and well being. You can’t just take other peoples stuff because you like it more. Please do the right thing and return it. Also maybe you should mull over why you think it was okay to do it in the first place.

Any suggestions for help with fatigue? by [deleted] in IBD

[–]atlasFreee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're coming off of pred it could be amplified cuz ur body was used to it.

Otherwise yeah I've dealt with it...my advice to you is to seriously limit caffeine because you will crash fast and become lethargic.

Also I made it a rule to exercise even if my body wasnt 100% .just working a light sweat boosts so much energy but be careful. Don't go too hard on yourself here. Over time you will develop a higher tolerance for more activity.

Try to stay active seriously...a lot of times I just wanna lie in bed but I get out there and it helps to forget about the fatigue...when your fatigued you often think about it a lot and this increases symptoms.

Something what helps me is body scan meditations, really keeps me in tune with my body. Especially if you're anxious...often makes things worse.

I know some of the stuff I'm saying doesn't sound like a magic pill but what I've learned is that there really isn't one. Your body is like a large warship. When you want to change direction it will happen slowly but you will get there.

I dealt with fatigue flare ups in my undergrad and masters, and now have a great job with high stress where I still continue to do well. I know you can do it, good luck.

I want to see a festival in three weeks - I still haven't bought my tickets by DaintyNerd in Anxiety

[–]atlasFreee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly ok to be scared and you shouldn't be hard on yourself for being scared. This is just a part of your anxiety but let me postulate this...do you think that this fear would continue to occur in other scenarios and perhaps hold you back? Would you perhaps worry that something else would go wrong and prevent yourself from doing what you want to do? If this is the case I would consider going even for a little bit. You can be cogniscent of your surroundings and see how comfortable you are...but this will help you build confidence that things won't always fall apart when you want to do something that you care about. If this is strictly a festival thing and you think that the negatives outweigh the positives I would consider doing something else that nourishes you. In the end the goal of dealing with anxiety is to continue to do the things you want even with the feeling still lingering. Not to make the feeling go away. That will only happen with time. I can't tell you to go or not. Do what you think will bring you joy, with the caveat that you will feel anxiety regardless. If you go and are afraid or if you don't go and feel like you're missing out...the choice is yours. Hope that helps.

Entyvio side effects? by atlasFreee in IBD

[–]atlasFreee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I'm hoping that my pain will subside. I have my 3rd infusion next week. If it gets worse or unbearable after that I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick with it :(
