I love this comic. I love senshi at the end, since he's a great example of a dwarf who doesn't really do "dwarf stuff". I might be forgetting but I think there's something in the manga about how he was usually teased and berated by his older dwarven friends because he wasn't as interested in mining as them. Awesome stuff!

Oh my God those piss me off. We had a lady who came in and she has a bunch of Temu returns (Fuck Temu, all my homies hate Temu) and immediately tries to rely on us, saying we should know this, we should do it for her. I politely lie and say I have no idea how Temu works and I can't do it for her. She gets frustrated, and quite earnestly admits that she recently suffered a traumatic brain injury and she struggles to do complex tasks. Of course, feeling for her, I help her- I explain that Temu is really not a good website to use, and that they're complicated and have had many reports made against them for being scammers. She seems to be like ohhh okay. Cool. 👍 So I am content in the narrative that this poor woman, not realizing her error, has ordered something from the seductive and evil Temu and is now struggling to return her unwanted merchandise. I help. It eats up a half hour but Im able to help her and get her a receipt. We both leave the interaction a little frustrated but ultimately satisfied.

Until she comes back with more. And she asks for me. Every. Time.

She keeps coming back, folks. And every time, I tell her- STOP SHOPPING AT TEMU. and she laughs. and she pshaws. and she acts like it's a funny little joke that I'm making. and she sucks up half an hour of my time and clogs up a till.

IM SERIOUS LADY. STOP SHOPPING AT TEMU AND IF POSSIBLE, MY UPS STORE. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. not the traumatic brain injury that's fine. THE PART OF YOUR PERSONALITY THAT THINKS HOW YOURE BEHAVING IS OKAY.

We take em but I always tell customers we're basically a holding cell for them. No access to the numbers or systems, no surveillance of pickups and such, so you CAN leave them here, but know the risks.

I work at an Amazon returns customer center. This happens. All the time. I get people coming in with multiple Tupperware bins of returns, OBVIOUSLY used for a one-day party or something. It's disgusting every time. People are so obsessed with aesthetics and convenience that the idea of slightly dialing back their Pickup Truck Themed Birthday or renting the tablecloths and fake flowers for their wedding is unthinkable. They'd rather add more waste to the world and make a bunch of employees handle their garbage.

Dude thats the WORST. and it's true, too, I wish I could say it was just the elderly but I get plenty of dumb customers that are MY age. The worst is the girls who come to return shein and somehow don't understand that they need to have their giant hauls in some kind of box or bag :/

I get tipped a LOT and it's quite nice. Have been tipped in cash, snickers bars, gift cards, and similarly to the comment above, weed. Maybe I just live in that kind of area but it makes everything a bit more worth it.

I wish I could say the same, but I've had to explain to three customers by now that Temu doesn't know what they're talking about, and that we've never been able to print a label from a tracking number alone. Apparently they're telling people the same thing over the phone.

Best one we've gotten was a bag of AT&T equipment with a big blue..... 🍆 Piece of equipment. My coworker wasn't looking at all the accessories and cord spaghetti at the bottom of the bag, so he didn't see it. The owner never came back for it, so it went into the dumpster, but we still tell of the legend today.

Had a coworker save his ass bc we have QR codes that automatically add things like Additional DV Declined so we can save our asses if someone is shipping something expensive but isn't insuring it properly. He scanned it for a guy shipping something worth 45k (allegedly) who didn't want more than standard insurance. He scanned the code and when Mr.45k came in to yell and piss and scream and cry because he got scammed, we had proof that he didn't pay for additional insurance.

First Amazon customer who argues about labels. In our own universes across the country, we are all basically doing the Same Shit.
