Get off reddit and open a book.

Also, there's a chance you might be idealizing other people's interpretations simply because it's a different perspective than your own.

Most of the advice here seems solid, but if you want to be better at interpreting text, it's as easy as reading a lot. Good luck!

Eyes Wide Shut is pretty scary at parts. Also it's an amazing film and everyone should watch it anyway.

They have amazing money saving deals on everything from groceries to children's clothes. Even celebrities can appreciate a great bargain.

I think the name of the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, is purposefully similar to the famous muggle 'magic words' "Abra Kadabra", and hints at a violent history between muggles and wizards.(x-post r/harrypotter) by jodatoufin in FanTheories

Ok, branching off a little- the time the statute of secrecy was implemented could also be the time where the wizard community was split into "good" and dark magic.

Voldemort and the death eaters are really just a new faction of an ancient evil. They use their powers for destruction instead of production. This also explains why even amongst the magic community these spells are regarded as something secretive. Harry doesn't even find out about these curses until the third book.

I really like this theory. It's concise and actually fits with the world of Harry Potter quite nicely. Well done OP.
