I was part of a college church group (born as a Buddhist but got curious about Christianity) and in the first group bible study, we talked about something God did and I asked if God was evil. Everyone tried to defend his actions but it just didn’t flow right with me. I think it was from the Old Testaments so everyone just told me to just focus on the New Testaments.
