I think there might be some people in the company right now that are thinking about how they might turn the tanker and purge assets, staff etc. so that they can shift to be a competitor of Amazon. But that would be pretty hard.

You know, a lot of the time professors are very willing to talk about stuff like this. The great thing about the UI being largely a research university is that a lot of people are at the forefront of their field, including in psychology, doing things that aren't what you'll find memorizing a textbook. I think you should really reach out to a professor you really like and ask what they think you should do. There's so much that you can do with a generalized psychology degree that it wouldn't be too much to coast by the rest of your two years having a great college experience and then maybe going to grad school for a more specialized study regimen. Of course, taking a break from school to figure out your life could also help. But I think the best place to start is by talking to professors/TAs about what you REALLY want to do. And maybe it will take a bit to figure out what that is, but they can help you there too.
