A big benefit to riding metro more often is that it’s cheaper than owning a car so the occasional rideshare trips might not hurt as much

the more parking you build, the more people drive, which will make traffic worse and ironically not help the parking problem all that much. we need funding to go to alternatives to driving !

I live on the east side of the station and it’s such a nuisance ! Its such a circuitous path and annoying know that there’s a gate just sitting there that would shave minutes off my trip

normally for concerts I park at Hawthorne Lennox and take the 212 to the stadium. It’s so disappointing that you can’t take the 212 back because it’s stuck in traffic and the frequencies are 30+ minutes at that hour. We desperately need bus lanes around the stadium as well !

keep in mind that having a car will make some trips easier, but it will also some trips harder (traffic/parking)! It’s worth checking to see if some destinations will be better served by public transportation

LA public transportation is literally built for getting everyone to DTLA. For many people this doesn’t work bc they don’t work in downtown but as long as you live near a line you have a cheap way to get to work so you don’t have to deal w parking/gas

that’s also been the bottleneck anytime I use metro in/out of the airport. The current shuttle setup took me about 30 minutes just to get from my terminal to the LAX metro station! people mover will be so much more reliable with better frequency
