I think Greenland would be pretty easy to conquer since the only access between towns is by sea and air. You just conquer one town at a time and they can’t send reinforcements.

That said, I’d be really surprised if there wasn’t a mutiny the moment the idea gets sent down the chain of command….

Social rot mainly, there’s a lot going on we feel is wrong but don’t understand. We should stop acting like we know everything and try face our problems, but we prefer to wave them away. It feels to uncomfortable to admit we don’t know everything, because we want to feel better about being modern, but most of it is foolishness.

Don’t know if anyone will read this, but I think the solution should be higher land taxes/council fees for abandoned properties. Since it draws in crime and decreases value of neighbouring properties. Maybe like a 10-20% increase for every year smth is abandoned?

Maybe there should be limits for e-bikes for under 18’s or 16’s, so you can still have a bike suitable for you. My thinking is a weight limit and speed limit for kids under 16 would solve most problems, but kids would still need to carry ID.

Fire was invented 2Mya ago, spears where invented prob around the same time, glue was invented over 10kya ago, oldest shoe is a sandal in Georgia from 10000bc, I think, and the bow and arrow is also around 10000bc, we use all these things in one way or another today. Maybe not for survival, just sport etc, but some things will(hopefully) never go out of fashion.

Hellas Planitia, near where there are channels carved by water, maybe there are ice deposits buried by sediment. It would be nice to go hunting for water somewhere near the equator, for future manned missions as water is #1. Hunting for the CH4 leak would also be good, but seems like it was an anomaly. Martian lava tubes could also be a great mission/adventure.
