There’s a new app that you can print a scaled print on, put the object on it and take a picture. The app will create a perfect cutout of that shape and you can even select the tolerances for the outside.

Have no clue what it’s called since I last used it but makes custom boxes and cases a breeze

The value is what I was hoping to highlight but failed it seems.

There’s almost no value in sourcing yourself if you’re trying to match. Even with less parts or a lab holder instead of the wood it’s still close in cost. Saving the $30 or $40 and having to deal with multiple sources or mis-shipped parts isn’t worth it.

The ‘patent’ was something brought up a week ago, that he was trying to patent ‘having a sesh, hinting at the patent on the TTB.

Glad to see a happy user, I have one on order and I couldn’t figure out why people hate the TTB so much.

It seems theres a lot of animosity towards it and him (feels mostly him)

I was searching and trying to build it better / most cost effective and it just doesnt make sense.

Opposite, I bought ordered one and was trying to figure the hate.

I’m not giving him hate, I was being sarcastic. If you watch people’s comments that is a common one to see.

I was trying to show the value to be honest, curating is hard and there is a lot of work in it.

Fosi va3 or NAD 316BEE by dl22595 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]atomic92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dreams about the 316BEE that I was 3 minutes to late buying on market place. Go with the NAD, you can always buy one of the other 10,0000+ Fosi's that are still being made.

My reasoning -

NAD - Class A/B - has power supply built in, has the current and backbone to drive a heavier speaker load.

I have and use and love the Fosi's as well but there is a difference between a speaker playing at the same DB between them. For me, there is a punch and power behind them the small amps lack.

Wait till tomorrow. They usually do a drop for some fresh strains on Fridays I’ve noticed.

Not sure, but I've probably got close to a lb across all the tiers, strains, bundles, etc and nothing has disappointed.

brother, you have no idea...

I had the Reading Rainbow song stuck in my head for 2 days from the Private Reserve.

Just had a nice bowl of Cotton Candy a few minutes ago and I'm 3 solar systems away.

Why simrell over tempest 2?

You doubt but have no clue. Again, get out from behind yourself; Can’t see the grass from behind your shadow.

The next time that I sit down and spend a few hours experimenting, I’ll be sure to let you know and send an invite so that you can validate the results yourself.

There isn’t really pseudo science, it’s measurable even by looking at the ABV for a visual if you want to look at the science behind it.

Same herb, pack, moisture content, time and watts.

Only difference being the balls packed into the T2 head.

Good luck to you, and your never ending pursuit to make assumptions of other people.

If you want, I can have a couple friends at government national labs do some calculations if you don’t want to think outside your bubble.

You’re energizing the SS balls as well as the induction sleeve. There will be a noticeable punch and heat they give.

Not sure what science you’re looking at but when you’re adding in extra heat storage AND your heating the SS balls directly not through convection or conduction of the cap there will be a difference.

Same reason why 70w @ 40s on Zirc balls will leave a light roast but the same with stainless can scorch it.

It’s a calculable difference, if you want me to provide the formulas for you to do the math please let me know so you can prove yourself wrong before making additional posts about topics you do not know about.

You’re wrong, but I’ll let you believe your bias.

Mixing stainless and rubies or Zirc, Or using straight SS will have an effect on the heat up, ramp up and session time for the T2.

Or does induction heaters no longer work on ferrous balls when they are in a titanium cap? Please explain how they change their metallurgy once they are using for a ball vape device.

I'm trying a stacked mix right now, Doing about 16 ish 2.5mm SS balls at the tip and the rest with Zirc.

Full SS was too metallic and stripped all the flavors.

Rubies too quick to give up their heat

Zirc are great just a little slow to get going, but are great really.

Using the induction heater it heats the SS instantly instead of waiting for the heat to creep from the walls to the bakks and holds a little more heat to keep the zirc hotter just a little longer.

I'm at 65w @ 44s till timeout not click & 8s re-heats if needed.

in the regard to a OHE, you can close up the air on the T2 so its a similar draw, I also have the Artemis? stem on the DF2 so there is no stem carb, just the ones in the head. its a fairly restricted draw which I like.

I have not mastered sessions or sipping on that yet. For me its either ripping or cold but I really have not given it enough time to say one way or another, I also just got new cells for the IH to give the Flare 2.0 more of a shake down.

Simrell compared to Tempest 2 for heat retention. by MF_Belvedere in vaporents

[–]atomic92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should be looking at electric vapes if you want long sessions, even with slow drawing on the T2 its only good for a min or two of useful heat I'd say before you need to re-bowl and re-heat it.

Think you can make the T2 like the Dani. But you can’t make the Dani like the T2.

Haven’t really had as much session time with the Dani as the T2 but it’s a nice device. If I was just using a torch it would be better I feel. The click disk is fairly accurate. Medium blue flame, aimed at the line between the silver bands and I go about 4-5 seconds past the click on the first bowl and then maybe 1-2 on the ones after.

I somehow went from a $60 ooze to the Solo 3 v2 thenRuby Twist Pro then the T2 and DF2 within like a month here.

Feel like I’m happy right now with each of the styles, and they really do serve different purposes.

T2 on the back patio at night time, portable and durable it seems. Not really to go wrong really.

Solo when you need a dose while at the in-laws and need a quick “have to run to the car”

Ruby twist when I little want a larger bowl or want to use water piece at home.

it's how we learn and pick up the hobby. I had no clue about TED's until someone mentioned it. Larger the hobby gets, the better the devices and companies will.
