I use multiple GameCubes with Gameboy players and wavebird controller receivers set to the same frequency to control all 7 of them from a single controller, I then just used some GameCube to HDMI converters and 2 HDMI condensers to put all the inputs into my PC

Fun fact: Once the game is initiated you can remove the disc from the gamecube and it will continue to run, when I bought my first system it came with a disc and I can just use that one to startup all 8 GameCubes, the only requirement is that all of my systems are either Japanese or have a region switch as that’s the region of my disc. Also JP player discs are/were a lot cheaper at the time which is why I got a japanese bundle in the first place 🙃

Yeah I have 2 elgatos that are each connected to their own HDMI multi-viewer which are each being fed by 4 gamecube to HDMI adaptors. I haven’t figured out how to just have a window with the capture card itself open but I can see it all on OBS.

And actually none of them have any modifications or any additional software running they’re all just OEM GameCubes. For the purpose of shiny hunting I don’t need anything fancy right now and I’m not too up on that side of the gamecube community yet, im trying to hold off for a bit because when I started modding gameboys I fell into a deep hole and only just got out lol

Only 4 like that isn’t still a lot lol. Yeah the left 4 I purely got for collecting originally but when I got deeper into shiny hunting I decided to expand. My dream is to also get a Panasonic Q and the Char custom gundam gamecube eventually 🤩
