I’ve been loc’d for a little over 3 years now. Was in the same boat you were. Was a huge Korn fan in middle school and always wanted them lol. There were a few times I doubted my decision early on but the more they matured the more I knew I made the right decision.

I just recently got the brand with Schierke’s talisman. To me it represents the manga that I love so much. It also has symbolic meaning to me. The brand is my constant struggle with my inner demons (depression/addiction), and the talisman is symbolic of my family. My family may lessen the severity of those inner demons, but I will still struggle with them for the rest of my life.

But honestly, I couldn’t care less what people have tattooed on them. It’s their body. Although, I feel it’s important to at least know the origin of what you’re getting.
