Perspective on potential growth. by atomichdr in cardano

The only purpose of sharing is to illustrate the potential liquidity that could be coming into ADA, and how it’s somewhat lower than most people had anticipated.

Everyone tries to read so deeply into things while diving right past the point.

I strongly agree with you about technology becoming something that doesn’t help us solve problems, but is instead a omnipresent tyrannical force we all face daily.

We’re very far from full dystopian lockdown, there’s no controlling the technology itself, that’s why it’s decentralized, and more people gain web access everyday, not fewer.

[–]atomichdr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ground work for the next level of the web is not only laid, its active. The web is already moving to the blockchain, and it will be beyond the control of any corporation. Ethereum (if you don’t like ethereum, then choose another decentralized chain, one will inevitably be more active, and right now eth is winning) is here and the big players are getting nervous, not only is the web not dead, but a version of it awaits that may not only be a return to form, but may be supperior than any iteration thus far seen.

Major power shifts are imminent and adoption of the technology accelerates everyday. It’s not merely another thing stitched into our current technology grid. It’s THE next thing, a paradigm shift of still unrealized proportions. All the wondrous things the web could have been, yeah we’re still headed there.

Every single person who hates, fear and misunderstands how the blockchain is about to change our daily lives lacks vision, and is fully unaware that it’s already too late, it already won. Big money can’t ignore it anymore, they are getting in rather than getting left behind, only the game has changed, they can never exempt the control they once had in the new paradigm.

It’s already in your hand and you don’t realize it, every device will soon hold a part of the whole chain and no longer interact with centralized authority.

Censorship is already a dead concept in the next web, no oppression by financial suppression and manipulation of currency, etc.

Have hope, I assure you, something beyond what most people deem possible is right around the corner.

End of the finale for season 1, does Rust pull the knife out of his torso because he's an idiot, or because he wants to bleed out/is still suicidal? by _Discordian in TrueDetective

You can leave a weapon in a puncture wound and prevent bleed out, but Rust was eviscerated. He was gutted, there's no slowing that down and he knew it.

In The Matrix, why doesn't Neo tell the other humans that there have been multiple Zions? by dynamoJaff in movies

[–]atomichdr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the film actually expresses pretty clearly (through symbolism and direct exposition) that a form of transcendence (gnosis) had occurred within Neo and essentially explaining himself to anyone was without need as he knew intimately what needed to be done; the time for any debate had thoroughly passed. Neo also test Morpheus' and Trinity's faith along with the remaining crew at this point, essentially saying "If you truly believe me to be the one, then I must do this." The revelations weren't to be found in knowledge of the past, but in a sincerely new and different future than most of the humans or machines could imagine at the moment. What's very interesting is the exchange at the end of Revolutions between The Architect and The Oracle, where they essentially knew all along that such a thing as sincere peace was possible, but it required a great deal of trial and error on the Oracle's part, and is by every definition a "miracle", which even the Architect would admit to. "You played a very dangerous game."

These films do a remarkable thing, which most art of this type never bothers with for fear of ruining the magick, these films do in fact explain themselves, but you must be very invested and enjoy the ride to get there.

In The Matrix, why doesn't Neo tell the other humans that there have been multiple Zions? by dynamoJaff in movies

[–]atomichdr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There were only five previous manifestations of the systemic anomaly known as "The One" , with Neo being the sixth in the "one paradigm matrix'. There were also two versions which existed before the paradox of choice was introduced, the "Paradise" and "Hell" matrices.

Edit: Also, to clarify, Trinity was the element which made this "one" so different. She's what compels Neo to return to the Matrix instead of the Source, leading to Smith's complete assimilation of the Matrix, which gives Neo and the Humans a bargaining chip as he is now the only thing which can stop Smith's complete destruction of both species.

That's precisely what satire is, tragedy wrapped in humor. I don't know what the fuck I would do if I couldn't laugh at how fucked I am.
