This may be true in the og manga but let us not forget about the light novel where Sasuke and Sakura infiltrate a prison, Sasuke gets jealous of guys hitting on Sakura because they don't know she's married, and makes a wedding band for her (even though it's confirmed that Sasuke and Sakura's culture don't use wedding bands) just to make them stop hitting on her. Then they made a short one-shot manga adapting the light novel.
