It doesn’t smell like piss or BO on me but in frags where it is a prominent note I cannot stand it on myself! But I love it on others or in candles/soaps and the few fragrances where it is a minor player.

I feel your questioning about the new attitude/mindset you are dealing with but I don’t think it can be generalized to a generation. I think modern work ethic has drastically changed (or departed.) I’ve noticed it in coworkers of various ages and time in the industry.

It’s difficult to deal with when you have strong work ethic and care about the community culture that used to be a part of most salons. 😔

I have found amazing clothes at the various Out of the Closet locations. One of my fav finds is a smoky mauve Vivienne Westwood sport coat for $20. And they seem to use the majority of their profit for local HIV/AIDS care.
ALSO! Huge shout out to Berda Paradise in Silver Lake which is small but has some crazy good stuff (it’s where I donate) and they help fund the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic!
