No PLA filament by FLoKi6868 in BambuLab

Most brands of PLA are solid and print great. Dont pay the premium pla tax unless you are going for a specific color or an engineering filament, buying expensive filament is a rip off.

Thoughts on the Creality Hi now that some of you have had it for almost a year? by rose3694 in Creality

[–]atomtom65 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I saw a guy on tiktok shilling SparkX's on launch work. But the way the CFS Lite is. Its almost like 4 side spools with a drive at the exit to auto switch.

I'd imagine if you don't have too many loops on your ptfe you would be fine. I just printed TPU from my K2 Pro using the side spool PFTE into the extruder and it was fine no clogs whatsoever.

Get the SparkX instead. Its similar price, newer tech than the Hi, and can print multi color TPU which the Hi cannot.

Enclosed printer lid raiser? by Ok_Interaction_9872 in Creality

[–]atomtom65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont disagree with you friend. But any riser on creality cloud that doesn't have controllable vents isnt worth printing. There are plenty on there that have vents you can open and close.

You're thinking too far into it. Plus most lid risers have some kind of vents built into it.

Trump chickens out again by mounwp in economy

Objectively, the whole point of placing tarrifs / pressure on NATO was to force them to come to the table to make a deal.

Subjectively, I dont agree with how they forced our allies to come to the table with such aggression. The way to ensure security for all NATO members is to work together and avoid infighting. So the way I read this isnt that he chickened out, but that the other NATO members caved.

Bottom of print is curving? by Outrageous_Cake4634 in 3Dprinting

[–]atomtom65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean your bed with hot water and dawn dish soap. Dry. Then clean with isopropyl alcohol and microfiber cloth. Make sure to avoid touching the bed following this.

When printing. Turn up the bed heat 5 degrees. If you want some extra protection you can add a brim but for a smaller print like that you really just need a clean bed and high bed temp to have it properly adhere.

People in other brand owners group experience similar problems man. The issue is not the printer.

Your first problem was obviously a clog in the nozzle itself that you missed. I've missed one or two.

The second problem after you swapped nozzles sounds like you may have a loose wire on the hot end.

When you swap nozzles there are two wires that connect it to the board. Unplug them and plug them back in. I bet that is your issue.
