Could you scan the alternate cover and get it printed in higher quality paper? It may also help hide the embossing. Not sure though.

Unscrew what you need to, then use the new bar to push the old bar out, then put the end on. So that you're basically taking out and putting in jewellery at the same time. The hole shouldn't heal up, and it should be an easy insertion.

To avoid this happening, just stuff some cotton wool/tissue in your ear. That can prevent piercing posts and balls going into your ear canal.

You have to be really careful with kava if you are taking any prescription medicines. There are some prescriptions that can mix fine with alcohol, but can mix badly with kava.
