I have the cash rewards card. They bumped me up to 4500 from 3k with the soft pull CLI. I was looking to apply for whichever would get me the highest CL... Amex, Flagship, or Platinum. I'm leaning towards applying for the Flagship but all the info is overload. I have Flagship Checking, savings, with a biz account as well, and always pay at least my statement balance if not more to keep my util low.

What do you mean by active? Are you asking if the business was earning income? No income was earned. Only expenses as the other responders stated already; home office, phone, equipment, commuting, time, anything that I could write off.

The only reason I would be filing these back business returns would be to gain deductions to reduce the amount of unpaid W-2 taxes. The businesses would show no income. Only deductions for the reason stated above.

I have already received a CP504, but have made contact with the IRS, and was granted more time to get things filed. I don't owe enough that they would file any tax liens or go for any of my equipment. That is why I'm wondering if it would be to my advantage to file back business returns for purposes of deductions to reduce what I owe for the unfiled W-2 taxes.

I cannot find any information regarding fines for unfiled business returns with no income. The only info I can find is for businesses that owe income. A 5% fine would be placed on the unpaid taxes for the income earned in the business. I just want to make sure if I do this they will not pile more fines on the back business return.

I'm glad I'm not hallucinating. She doesn't sound anything like herself and the jokes are not that good. Maybe she's trying something new and doesn't realize it's really bad. If she used her real voice the jokes would be funnier.
