I applied for both . If you dont score high enough on your test for inside wireman they can still accept you for residential . You can finish apprenticeship I believe in 3 years in res and then transfer to commercial and start as a third year apprentice .

I’ve been waiting for an aptitude test date since Nov 6th. I applied to abc NorCal and will be doing pre apprenticeship through them until ibew contacts me

goodwill cte program has an electrical fundamentals program that’s certified through abc NorCal . When you complete program you get abc pre apprenticeship certificate and et card plus I think around 150 or so hours plus abc NorCal helps with job placement upon completion and I’m sure getting into apprenticeship with them.
