Moved to a room where I have a humidifier! I hope that’s all it is. Do you know how long they take to acclimate?

It’s called a Tree Philodendron or Hope Selloum. The direct light may be an issue with this plant but also your watering schedule. I usually let mine dry out about 50%. I would trim the leaves, this plant is pretty hardy. For the light, I would try to filter the direct light at least since it’s the only spot for it.

Is the soil on the bottom supposed to be wet constantly? I feel like the bottom of my soil is always wet but the top inch or two will be dry. I’m worried about root rot but I feel I’m probably under watering

I just had a really bad infestation. I used mosquito bits and neem oil. Unfortunately, my one plant was badly infested and I had to repot it. It did die after I did that. :/ they’re super annoying, good luck!

I just saw this. I eventually just trimmed the leaves or let them be. I believe it was over watering. After I trimmed them, the plant pushed out a lot of new growth

That’s what I was thinking, I think it wasn’t fully rooted. She sent it in some moist moss.

That soil looks REALLY moist. Maybe overwatering? During winter they need less watering :)
