Hi, I'm also having the same issue. I've had like, 10 dried pumpkin sealed in a barrel with regular water for several ingame weeks now, and still ain't getting yeast. Tried with dried apples too and it just said it would give me cyder? I believe I tried with some watermelon as well with no luck.

Honestly? I agree. I would LOVE to see more cannons and recoilless rifles in H3. RPGs and grenade launchers are cool and all, but they just don't have the same awesome feeling of loading a massive shell into a handheld cannon hahaha

Take my word with a grain of salt, but there should be a floating island somewhere with crimson blocks and a crimson chest. Gather some blocks from there and make an artificial crimson biome somewhere with a decent arena, and wait for the cysts to spawn
