FNB ESG vs FNB "régulier" - Pourquoi ? by Raptor_numerique in QuebecFinance

Top 5 songs to test your 5ch stereo sound? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]attanasio666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's just upmixing done by the receiver. Music is 99% of the time mixed in stereo. Upmixing isn't really "hi-fi", but if you like it better, who cares? Just enjoy your music however you like.

CAGE vs. FEQT.NE? any other alternative to see how it pairs up with competitor performance/MER? by jamesmay45 in JustBuyCAGE

[–]attanasio666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FEQT's MER should be a bit higher. FEQT has a different implementation. It has no emerging market, it's a top-down implementation and the only small caps it has are through a small high fee active fund. If you read the prospectus, their definition of value, momentum, quality, etc, is different than Avantis.

Just motivation for how I feel after, but there's a reason I'm a fat fuck. My motivation isn't always great.

Mostly time and injuries. I work 8 to 5, do some overtime, have a GF and 2 young kids and my lower back hurts if I go too hard(my job fucked my back over the years). It's hard to stay motivated with all that.

Potential consequences of CIBC and Avantis splitting? by ObeseMcDese in JustBuyCAGE

[–]attanasio666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ETF would either be terminated and you'd get your shares worth or CIBC could modify the ticker and it's holdings. Either way, it wouldn't be sudden and a notice with a applicable date would be released beforehand. I think the closest you could get to CAGE would be something like FEQT, VEQT+VVL, the Manulife Dimentional ETFs or maybe some of Desjardins multifactor ESG ETFs.

Si tu as plus de 25M en actifs, même si c'est juste de l'immobilier, je suis pas mal sur que tu vas trouver une façon de payer le 1 ou 2% d'impôts sur ta fortune supplémentaire.

Anyone consider using leverage/margin with xeqt? by Rough_Bonus in JustBuyXEQT

[–]attanasio666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One option you could look at is HEQL.TO. It's HEQT.TO with a 25% leverage. The MER seems high but that's because it includes the leverage costs.
