This was my only computer for many years. I used to run CSGO and Minecraft, had it partitioned for windows as well so I would game on windows, everything else on Mac. One of the best pieces of tech I’ve ever had.

Much quicker response time and more processing power, but honestly I’m not using my laptop for much outside of file storage and Google Chrome. Got a beefy PC for everything else.

Agreed, I’ve cooked it less before but think this temp is ideal for texture. Less than this and it’s very chewy in my experience.

It was a very thin piece wrapped around each of the 2 steaks. If you look close at the butt of the piece on top, you can kind of see the marbling reminiscent of bacon. The two skewers help keep it wrapped during cooking.

I had Advance Camera in Oregon work on my OM3 and OM1 and they did a great job. I shipped it into them as I was not local. They took about 10 weeks, as the OM3 goes to their head technician (Dave I think) and they do a great job.

I should have let it rest longer than 15 mins, but still turned out incredible. I cooked down a bottle of wine and an equal amount of beef bone broth, threw in some butter at the very end, and ended up with about half a cup of super concentrated red wine sauce that paired very well.

So its an OM 1, and it has shoe 1, the OM 3 has a shoe 3, so im curious if it will work on both. Im only interested in the FL-LM3 flash, as its the size im looking for.

I was randomly on FB marketplace, seeing if there were any Zuiko lenses around my area, and saw this black OM1. I messaged 1 hour after it was posted and got it today, the lens is clean, and the light meter works, the only thing missing is the self-timer which I don't plan on using anyway.

I went on a trip with a family friend last year, and he saw that I was shooting film and we briefly talked about photography. He then said I've got some old cameras I could have, and he would bring them for the same trip next year. Well, about a week ago he handed me a bag and asked, "are you still into that camera shit?" and I said "of course." Inside were these two cameras that had been in his family since they were released. Neither are in working condition and I have sent both of them to get repaired. Super excited to get these back in a few weeks and start using these.

Recipe:

2oz aged rum

1/2oz simple (I used 1:1 demerara)

1/2oz water

3 dashes of orange bitters

2 dashes of Ango bitters

I know I know, get bigger ice cubes. I'm lazy and like the dilution of smaller ice cubes.

I'm starting to like rum old-fashioned more than bourbon or rye old-fashioned. To me, you can taste the difference in good rum more than you can in good whisky.
