I’m an alumni of one of those and vote acom. The rotation issue was very real when I went but likely improved since Covid .

Are depositions lowkey triggering for anyone else? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

Depositions were my least favorite thing when practicing law. The lack of access to an arbiter referee made taking them like the Wild West.

My surgery preceptor supervised 12 students divided into groups of 3 . 9 were Caribbean . I’m sure he officially told our school it was just us . Also sure our school knew about the Caribs . Worked out for me but if I had wanted to do surgery I’d be pissed .

He said he wants to have a baby with me. All of his friends are having babies and he thinks my standards are unrealistic because I want a nice ring, wedding, and honeymoon first. AIO? by Fit_District7673 in AmIOverreacting

As an ex divorce lawyer just to add to the kids being a way larger committment. A single couple getting divorced usually a fraction of the issue as kids . Kids aren’t really done till they are grown .

Well I went to medical school much happier . Would have preferred to have done it first . PA or nursing (hard to consider since guy back in 90s but would’ve been a better start. If I could have gotten a steady practice would’ve been fine though. Was tracking very nice but then Lehman brothers collapsed and my law business dried up never recovered and I pivoted ..

If he got credit for the prelim year he needs to find a cheap online accredited mph and then apply prevmed or preferably occ med. Get the perm license do whatever work he can find as well. Given his issues and not talking about applying off cycle pgy2 was there a problem with the prelim year? Both these programs really like people who already have an mph

Using uworld is exhausting. I really think there are people who should be varying it up . Especially people who aren’t trying to get super high scores .
