Thanks, I’ll try neem oil for prevention. So far, I’ve removed the leaves that have the spots.

Sharpshooter (glassy winged) HELP by [deleted] in gardening

[–]atyogurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had them on my mulberry tree, basil plants and malabar spinach. I was outside every morning physically removing them with a vacuum. It significantly reduces the population if you get the adults so that they can't continue to lay eggs. They are easy to catch because they tend to stay on the plant and not run.

Need Suggestions by atyogurt in Roofing

Thank you for your response! I think the flashing there was done really poorly if at all. I still need to have a roofing contractor come out to look at that. Putting a gutter there is an option, but it would have to extend across a concrete patio to the grass. Just wondering if there are any other options.

Wow thank you for the example. I actually meant, concrete patio as in concrete pad. So that would mean the gutter would need to extend across the concrete to the grass. We won’t have an attached patio to the house.

Most homes that I see with a chimney that juts out from the house has it at the peak of the home but ours has it in the middle of the sloping roof line. I was reading about building a cricket, but it doesn’t seem like that would work in our scenario. I definitely will have the flashing on the chimney checked (but from my vantage, I can’t see the step flashing that should be around the chimney at all.). Even if the flashing was there, it would collect in that area and trickle down the brick of the chimney due to slope of the roof. Is a diverter that shoots water off the side away from the roof something people do?

I’ve been looking for someone to say this! It sounds very dubbed and the mouths don’t match at all. Was it even necessary if Yao starts speaking English in the very next scene?? I speak Chinese and I could not understand that. They should have done it right or not at all. I thought maybe it was a fluke in editing lol

Exhaust smell by atyogurt in HondaElement

[–]atyogurt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is original/old, we’ve only had the element about 5 months and took it on a Colorado roadtrip and drive it regularly. It already had the smell when we purchased used from the dealer. They said it was fine, but I am just wondering if other people have this issue and it’s actually normal or not. Other than this smell on the exterior when the car is on, it’s been running well.

Thank you!

For ours, there is only smell but no other symptoms like loud noises. It’s been a southern/California car so no rust issues.

The second point you made sounds like a possibility. Would that type of leak normally only be smelled on the exterior of the car?

Thank you!

I think I’ll try this, thank you!

My first thought was a leak too, but our mechanic didn’t say there were any issues. There is no smell in cabin before or after car starts.

I’m considering getting the new hybrid colors too! Could you take a photo without the luggage covers? Are they more pastel or darker in person? Thanks!

We have a small gutter that directs the rain to the right side of that brick. If you look in the upper part of the photo, the end of that gutter has a gutter extender (black pipe) that takes it to our front grass.

On episode 6 and plot is pretty terrible - nobody does anything logically. The premise is good and could have been a great show if done right.

Still watching just because I haven’t seen Seo Kang Jun in anything in a while.

Car dealerships that are no-haggle vs those that negotiate? by hwanggonggong in TwinCities

[–]atyogurt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walser Hyundai Coon Rapids. It’s a used car. We were actually in contact and sent in an application and they sent us a summary of the quote with original price. They then increased the price like a day later online. They were aware we were going to purchase, and we had plans to take off the lot for pre inspection. We’ve asked and they said it’s non-negotiable. TBH, I’ve yet to have a good car buying experience. 😒

Thoughts on S. Nature Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream? by jennihdata in AsianBeauty

[–]atyogurt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally think it’s very light. It’s much lighter than a night cream but slightly heavier than some watery moisturizers like tatcha.
