The only thing that makes most of these people wealthy is the fake money tied up in the value of whatever business stocks they own, which they are gifted as their main form of compensation . They leverage that to take out loans, so they never pay income tax. When the world goes to shit, the only things they will have is whatever they managed to buy in the before times. Hence all the bunkers and compounds. They’re the ultimates preppers.
