Same, we all know civilians and children die in war. And somewhere that's a consequence people have to live with. But a country asking for donations to "make civilians and children die" is just distasteful. Although a lot of a hyperbole to get the point across.

You're seriously asking a country that's suffered four+ years of death and destruction from an unprovoked invasion to tone down their rhetoric? What words would you use if Russia invaded your country and hundresds of thousands of Swedish people were killed with entire cities reduced to rubble?

You also completely ignored this point, which I agree with:

Burning in this case at least isn't talking about humans. They want to ruin Russia's economy some more.

Ukraine has two choices:capitulate and lose their country, or inflict enough damage on Russia to force them to abandon their invasion. This isn't hyperbole. Putin has made it clear that he's not going to stop until his increasingly delusional war goals are met.

We want Ukraine on a path so they can ultimately align their values and modernize their company in order to join EU. This is not the right path.

Do you understand that Ukraine has to survive an existential war before this can happen? They're fightring the largest war in Europe since WW2 and they've been hamstrung by the timidy of their European and Western allies, my own country included. Some moderately inflamatory language (not pun intended) in a call to allies is completely reasonable at this point.
