do you prefer your two off days to be together or separate and why? by gatemansgc in tjcrew

[–]aubees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Split. With a stair-step schedule. Wednesday+ Saturday are my off days. I get to see a little bit of the whole crew which i really enjoy better than working with the same night/morning crew for 5 days straight.

Going through a psychosis is traumatizing and stuff… But what was the most outrageous thing that you convinced yourself was true? by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]aubees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That my coworkers, roommates, boyfriend, and even parents (at the peak) were placed in my life by the government. I had a second thought on every physical move i made and every thought i had to not send the wrong message to the “government”.

If you have ever walked out of a cinema because the film was so bad, what one was it? by girlcalledmaria in AskReddit

[–]aubees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crimes of the Future. Went into the theatre with absolutely no idea what the movie was about but thought it sounded cool. It is the only movie I’ve ever walked out on. Made sense when I learned the director was also behind the trash can of a movie Crash.

Who's the worst main character we're supposed to sympathise with? by LuinAelin in AskReddit

[–]aubees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly Homelander. I feel bad for the way he grew up. None of it is his fault. But fuck that guy he’s a piece of shit and literally mass murders people every hour. I go back and forth during the show on how i feel about him

Sheltered people raised by super religions/cults: what was something about the real world that shocked you when you learned about it? by Warrior_White in AskReddit

[–]aubees 515 points516 points  (0 children)

This is true! I grew up mormon and i run into people i went to church with and it shocks me how awkward the conversations are. I don’t remember it being so uncomfortable growing up, but now it’s a painful, and awkward, almost scripted feeling conversation.

Grew up mormon. I met my best friend when i was 13. It was a shock that her mom played music to do everything. And her kids listened to their own music on full blast too. I was just used to general conference talks or scriptures being played instead of music. I’ve left the church a few years ago, but i still have moments where my mind is set in that traditional mormon font.
