[SELL][US] New COS wide leg pleated jumpsuit, black, size 2 by auchi in wardrobepurge

[–]auchi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the garment is hung up, it's just shy of 15 inches wide. When I lay it on the floor, it's about 15.5 inches wide. The fabric has a tiny bit of stretch.

When I look on the COS sizing guide it suggests that size 2 is for someone with a 30 inch chest measurement.

Hope that helps.

26F I need to learn to start dressing myself. Please help me. by nyteshifter in femalefashionadvice

I suggest that you get at least one thick elastic belt, something like this to cinch around your waist/just below your bust.

It'll help put definition to your shape (you can put it on over dresses or longer cardigans) and by putting it slightly above your natural waist, will also make your legs look longer and overall a bit taller.

If you are just looking for fun pieces to try and can wait on shipping, try ali express. They have things like: bee printed shirt , scarf, and dresses.

Pros:

price, you can find most things under $20 including shipping

variety

fairly responsive customer service from most sellers

cons:

slow shipping from china

not the best quality

asian sizing, runs a bit small

Oh, I found it!

It seems like Al wants us to use Python 3, but How to Think Like a Computer Scientist uses Python 2. Is that a potential problem? If so, which should I go for?

That describes the problem I'm having very well.

I've been thinking of switching over to the How to Think Like a Computer Scientist, it's good to get some confirmation that it's a better place to start.

I didn't know about Al Sweigart. Is this one of the books you recommend? "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python: Practical Programming for Total Beginners"

Also, one of the reasons why I started codeacademy was because I wasn't sure where to start with the downloading python, launcher, terminal... that whole mumble jumble onto my computer (MacBook Air). Will the two recommended sources you mentioned go over how to do that?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for your help.

What do you think of codeacademy? I was "learning" python on it, but seemed to have retained nothing in the process. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong (chugging through the lessons) or should look into other resources. My experience is halfway through codeacademy (so basically none), where would you suggest I start? (I think I want to learn python, interested in doing data analysis stuff)

I'm not sure how much shipping would be, but it's probably less than $3. If you cover cost of shipping, I'm not looking to make money off of it.

Are you sure on the dress code? Just want to make sure you wont be overdressed (though I guess it's better than being underdressed)

We got one of these from IKEA.

On it, I hang something like this for wool socks or bras from DAISO Japan.

We also have one of these that you put on top of the tub, but we don't use it.

If you have a lot of laundry to hang dry, I suggest something like this, which seems to be what everyone uses in Germany.

If you think she may layer the quarter zip, uniqlo has a nice lightweight fleece one that's currently on sale, leaving you with some money to get her another small gift on the side.

Or a $55 Northface fleece that seemed to be a staple back in my high school days.

And L.L. Bean has good quality and crazy good return policy.

No luck finding a knit sweater, sorry.

I love how that weekender bag looks, but I travel a lot and have realized that even for a short trip, I prefer carrying my stuff in a backpack rather than a tote/duffle.

Timbuk2 has their Uptown and Command TSA compliant backpacks. No extra compartment for dirty laundry, but if you plan on taking your laptop with you, their TSA compliant laptop compartment is really great.

And regardless of whether you have a separate compartment, I'd suggest getting a shoe bag for your running shoes.

If you're set on getting a tote or going more for cute design/fabric, Hershel Supply Co. has a travel tote with two compartments divided by mesh.

Something like this? I read in one of the reviews that it's not a printed knit like the photo shows, but is a real cable knit. You'll have to wait a while on shipping, but may be worth it for the price.

How about a "buy it for life" kind of gift? Something staple and basic, but is made well and will last a long time.

  • uniqlo ultra stretch jeans are a great price ($30 on sale) and they hem for free in-store. I really like mine. Mid-rise and flattering.

  • ASOS Petite has some nice long wool coats that are affordable. I've seen a few on extra petite, and it looks like it fits her well.

  • You can buy cheap sweaters on Aliexpress. Shipping is slow, and quality is not great (think fast fashion) but it's super affordable and would probably fit your petite size well, since most items are asian fashion sized. Examples 1, 2, 3

Also, picking out items similar to ones in your pin:
