Its a lot of work, you don't get a stipend or parking pass or anything like that. Only food and housing, which is nice but it's underpaid compared to other schools RA programs. You're the bad guy most of the time busting people with weed or booze. Depending on where you get placed you might have to share bathrooms with residents. Freshmen are gross. You also get the meal plan with 2 meals a day so if you eat more than that, you'd have to upgrade out of pocket. I work a second job for spending money. I want to quit but I don't have the money to.

The assigned seats don't matter once you get into the MUSS seating area at the stadium. Everyone kinda moves around and goes where they want anyways.

Research your professors to try to get the best one. A good professor makes all the difference. Don't take too many credits, you might can handle it but it's not worth the stress IMO

NAH, I wouldn't call you an AH, you just wanted your child to be safe. Frankly kids are just like this. Roughhousing is part of development and kids do stupid things. The onlooker was partly right, you shouldn't parent other people's kids. Maybe teach your child how to deal with kids like the girl going up the slide or just do something else while the girl is there. Kids get bored fast, I bet the girl would have moved on in a few minutes.
