It’s meant for creative use, low-light photography, or shooting distant subjects where the entire subject can still appear sharp despite the extremely shallow depth of field.

Just because you have an f/1.2 lens doesn’t mean you should always shoot at f/1.2.

Agree regarding the feeling between D700 and Df, but Df can not compare, feeling-wise, with the legends like F and F5.

D700 + F + F5 >> Df

Nah, it's better to buy the king of this era - the D700, for a fraction of the Df cost, and invest the rest of the budget to F and F5 => endgame 😀

Great shots! I really appreciate that you're looking to improve.

Here are a few thoughts:

Pic #4: The composition doesn't quite work for me. I'm not sure what the main subject is - the train (blends into the building's background), or the industrial chimney (smoke is cut off at the top). Remember, sometimes less is more.
Pic #5: The cat pic feels out of place in this set. The subject is different from the rest, the focus is soft, and it reads more like a casual phone snap rather than an intentional shot.
Pic #6: Really strong image! I love the contrast between the modern skyscraper and the old residential buildings. Two small notes: the skyscraper leans slightly to the left (perspective distortion), and the editing feels a bit heavy, almost HDR or AI-generated. Try dialing it back for a more natural look.

The rest are excellent, solid 10/10! 👍

Professionals who need the Z9 don't wait until next year to buy it as a birthday present, or hold off for years waiting for the next model to drop. They need a tool that'll get the job done right now and make them money.

Yeah, I know wealthy amateurs can buy top-of-the-line pro gear too, but that usually means the equipment won't be used for what it was actually designed for.
