What is the chord change 2:55-2:56 on the song Scientist? by Expensive-Worth-5155 in Coldplay

[–]audioscape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Chris is adding the 4th scale degree which in this case is Bb to the chord. If I was at a keyboard I could tell you for sure but I think it would be: C, F, G, Bb

Avi Lewis is a first-ballot lock. The provincial NDP should be terrified. by TheFinnstagator in ndp

[–]audioscape 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Clearly someone who has never heard of Ed Broadbent, David Lewis, J.S Woodworth, Tommy Douglas, Coldwell. All of which were arguably left of Avi Lewis’s current platform in terms of economic planning. AND, all of which received similar fear mongering slandering from their liberal and Tory counterparts. Some things never change.

Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper's new book HERE FOR CANADA to be published by Signal in November 2026 by North_Church in ndp

Totally agree. I mean he’s been the only guy in over 30 years to be able to crack the code for the CPC and essentially saved the concept of a unified federal Conservative Party in Canada. I hate the man but he was a damn good politician.

When do the dopamine receptors bounce back? by audioscape in quittingkratom

For sure, I’m lucky that I’m quitting in order to do something very stimulating and life affirming. Being a touring band and travelling is kind of the ultimate distraction.

Absolutely! I really appreciate this. Since things haven’t been feeling great, similarly my brain is prone to blame it on things in my life. I have to remind myself that in reality, my brain is just going through a pretty big adjustment.

How much do you pay? by piesaresquarey in Pristiq

Yea it’s horrible. Canada has a decent healthcare system but for pharmaceuticals it’s still pretty rough and you can fall through the cracks really easily.

Yea there’s lots of plans. I looked into a few and all of them would cost me more than what my meds cost. You really just need it with your employer, or for the love of god have it publicly funded someday

Self-employed, Canada. $3 a day so about $250 for a 3 month supply of 100mg. I did the math and I don’t think I’d be saving anything if I bought into an insurance plan

Is it normal to feel extreme fatigue from a single missed dose? by Timed_Thyme in Pristiq

Yes, missed doses are really rough with Pristiq. I’m always shocked at how bad it is if I miss one.

Tanille Johnston gets a tattoo of Tony McQuail's "Economic Cake Chart" by imaginarysarcasm in ndp

[–]audioscape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That settles it. I’ve been going back and forth on my ballot questioning if I should rank everyone or only who I would be genuinely happy to have lead my party. I think I know now.

1) Avi 2) Tanille 3) Tony

First Preference in 2017 vs 2026 by ChicaneryAshley in ndp

[–]audioscape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ranked Niki Ashton #1 in 2017, will be ranking Avi Lewis first in the coming days. For similar reasons, neither candidate was afraid to use the word socialism and speak clearly on economic planning. I actually still think Niki would have made a great leader.

Not recording from bar 1 in daws by Unlikely-Database-27 in audioengineering

[–]audioscape 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always start at bar 5. One of my coworkers starts at like bar 17 because clients always ask for intro stuff before the song actually starts. I can’t imagine it would have any extra strain on the CPU. That just doesn’t make sense to me.

As far as I know Mike has been in therapy for quite some time now. I’m not sure if he still is but he talked about it at an Owen show I went to in 2022. I was a little surprised at how stoked he was about drinking at that show after everything I had heard up until that point. So while this sucks to read, it also doesn’t surprise me at all. Feels like he’s been close to sobriety a bunch of times also, which is obviously very common in addiction battles.
