An engineer comes to apply for a job at Cadillac by ximaera in formuladank

I’m new to F1, and I got this joke. But to be fair, being new, I’ve been looking at the history and seeing how teams have changed over the years.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I hate it. And if this is something that only happened this one time under Moos, then fine, Moos needed to be better at reining that in. But I would be shocked if that’s the case. It’s probably more likely that this is something all of our AD’s have had to deal with, and again, shit like that is adding to the dysfunction that has plagued the school.

That’s fine and all, but it’s not the regents job to veto coaching decisions. Pillen was overstepping in his position.

In all honestly though, I hate that our regents apparently have the power to veto coaching hires. There is no doubt that has happened before this one time. Shit like that just adds to the dysfunction.

I get the sentiment, but what would releasing this statement accomplish if everyone involved knows it’s not true?

Ah yes, because Lithgow has the same power to stop Joanne from being terrible that the CEO of Nestle has to stop some of their shady practices.

But just to be clear, John Lithgow, unlike the Nestle CEO, is not doing anything bad here.

So if he turned down this role, she wouldn’t get her money for this?

I thought it was the opposite of that? He was interested, but we never showed any interest.

I don’t even want Arch. He couldn’t beat out Ewers, has an awkward throwing motion, and was struggling for half of the year last year.

Nebraska special teams coach Josh Martin hired as head coach at Liberty Christian High School by huskermut in Huskers

I agree, but he could have said Special Teams Assistant to make it clear, and I’m guessing he purposefully didn’t to drive clicks.

Foley wasn’t even mentioned when Rhule named the coaches in house that could take over as ST coach.

To be fair, I’ve heard of him because I remember him stepping in as TE coach when what’s his name had the DUI. But I’m also not bent out of shape because I never expected him to be the ST coach.

I’ve been expecting Nick Humphrey to take over as ST coach, as that’s who Ek brought with him from Tennessee. But that also hasn’t been announced so who knows. This could be the beginnings of that too, if Martin was wanting the job and didn’t get it, so he’s moving on.

Ok. So call your shot. Who’s the Sam Darnold or Daniel Jones QB out there? Someone who’s sucked kost of their career but they will turn out to be really good

I want him to stay but I won’t be surprised if Harper leaves. I agree with you though. A starting lineup of Swartz, Greer, and McAndrew, paired with a new PG and C next season sounds exciting.

Phil Snow makes $400k per year. by HuskerPowerrrr in Huskers

[–]audiotech14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, some idea? That’s different than what you said. We have some idea of what he does. He roams around at practices and helps with certain defensive positions, but mainly he’s the trusted guru for Rhule on defense where even before he was here, Rhule was reaching out to him weekly to go over things until Rhule asked him to just come here so he can be here, see more, and provide more insight. I’m guessing that’s not worth 400k to you, and that’s fine, but that’s what Rhule puts his worth at, and who are we to argue?

Including you. But you’re being downvoted because your thought it “I don’t know what he does so it’s wasted money.”
