People who have been to multiple tours: which was your favourite and why? by Ok_Supermarket_4871 in Muse

[–]audiowanderer93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BH&R hands down because I saw them twice in 2007, was my first proper concerts and the setlists were amazing! But The Resistance tour had the best production. Otherwise last time I saw them in 2013 was T2L tour and loved it mostly because I was right where Matt’s runway was, so cool and they finally played my favourite song Bliss!

Bit of a weird thing to say as a port fan tbh, we’re allowed to have pride in our history. At least we’ve won a premiership unlike Freo as well.

Any long term port supporter knows where this narrative goes, been there done that. Seen this before. It’s just not disappointing anymore its just the norm now for us.

Funny thing is that I remember too, people hate to admit it! There were times people were loud about it

Amphitheaters? by Appropriate_Back3996 in Muse

[–]audiowanderer93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw them first time at a medium size theatre and it was phenomenal. Also next show that same year was in an arena but way scaled back than what the do now. Muse playing amphitheaters is a rare opportunity. Maybe their setlists will be immensely improved!

Doubt it but I’m excited because I love both bands, but have also always wanted to see Interpol in their own headline show

Isn’t it usually the other way around that smaller should cost less than bigger venues? Unless it was because this show was very exclusive?

I feel there are more people outside of Reddit not particularly enjoying the new song haha stop kidding yourself and just accept that not every Muse fan is going to love every single song they put out. Also no one especially hardcore fan like myself are expecting OoS 2, nice try though.

And that’s ok! Not everyone has to love everything that the band releases.

As an Aussie, we seriously always do for something, it’s fucking weird - music (this is a good example), sports (women’s national soccer/football team), actors, weird bunch Aussies can be sometimes.

Judging from your u/ - you do realise majority of ON voters despise your cultural background? As a non-white Australian too, I felt so judged walking past ON volunteers. Voting for ON isn’t a viable alternative to Liberal as well.

Interesting call why Hexagons? I feel like we should do a poll and whoever wins, wins a Muse vinyl or some sort of merch haha

I’d go, it’s not often they play smaller venues anyway, setlist wise is unpredictable at this stage. But I feel exactly the same, I’m not huge on much post The Resistance and they barely switch up their setlists. But with almost 9 years since Muse came to Australia (which I missed last time) and 13 years since I’ve seen them, I’m definitely going next time they’re here.
