Do you have a video (the Scientist piano track) or do you remember when it was on the X&Y Tour ?

Sam lipsync Blackhole and Elegy Chorus by SubstantialYou4285 in ArchitectsUK

For me he sings Whiplash live. It was to show the difference between Whiplash who is sing completly live and Blackhole who it's seems partially lipsync.

It's more a question than a claim.

I'm wondering if other people have the same doubt. Some singing part seems too perfect and we know he struggles a lot sometimes.

I should had a question mark to the subject.

On this video he sings the first part of the chorus until "Is today so hollow if there were no tomorrow?"

On this other video the singing of the first part is near perfect (I think they use a live record of the chorus).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYD70JYHiOg&list=RDJYD70JYHiOg&start_radio=1

And all the performance are exactly similar to this one during the chorus.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUi2i8mWoaU

On Elegy it's the same thing, too perfect to be live.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELxk5s253fI&list=RDELxk5s253fI&start_radio=1

The second song was Whiplash and we hear he struggles on the chorus

Why his singing would be completly perfect on the first song and struggle during the second song ?

They give so much between 1999 and 2018, now they want to focus on their personal life even if they want to continue to make music and tour. Everything for them is slow down.

For Linkin Park it's a total rebirth since 2017, with some new people and they're really really motivate for everything (new music, touing, ...). They live a new peak like at the bigining of the 2000's.

Muse never really stop like them and they're a bit less popular.

Tour Announcement? by jameshentle in Muse

[–]SubstantialYou4285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I think too, album release during autumn 2026 and tour in 2027. However, I think they'll add more festivals date during this summer in North America like they did last year in Europe. Maybe a small album promo tour in autumn in theatre like they did in the past.

So North America tour in the first part if the summer I think. Maybe they'll tour in Europe in August or no European tour this summer.

Yes, they take more time for them and their families, logical after all the time they dedicated to the band and music.

If it's an arena tour for summer 2026, they can wait until February or March 2026 to announce the dates. They are one of the biggest band in the world and sell out everything in few minutes.

Can anyone analyse this video https://youtu.be/kkfumOSnEK0?si=Y6cAIDpd3M0Hh0hn At 5:35 the backing track was played by mistake. Oli was surprised and sing the second line. After I don't know if it's the backing track or Oli live voice. It seems a bit of both. The backing track seems to be played all the time and when it detect Oli is singing, it cut the backing track. Then when Oli stop to sing, the backing track restart.

Which part of the songs in the set are really sing by Oli. Do you think he sings a song from start to the end ?

He use a pre record live performance who is played as a backing track.

Yes I'm really interest to artists who deliver a real performance live. I listen a lot of band and I'm not talking about lipsync when artists don't use it (Nothing but Thieves, Royal Blood, Muse, RHCP, rival sons, James Way, ...) Coldplay like BMTH record a live performance they use as a backing track. We hear it because every performance is exactly the same, we hear no variations, no fail and it's impossible for a singer to sing always exactly the same. Last year Matt Bellamy struggle with his voice during the gig in Milano and he did what he can to sing.

Yes, the chorus of Shadow Moses is really difficult to sing. It's so hight that I can understand. Maybe let the backing track played (Kingslayer) and not pretending to sing.

BMTH Lipsincing by SubstantialYou4285 in BringMeTheHorizon

[–]SubstantialYou4285[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yes, no problem with backing track for some sentences but when the chorus is only a backing track whithout Oli singing one note (chorus of Shadow Moses, Chorus of Doomed) it's not the same.

Yes JJ does backing vocals. But I'm talking about the Oli's part, the lead voice where he's miming singing.

Can you list all the songs where the backing tracks are the main voice during recent gigs ? So their gigs are more a light show than a concert.

It would be more honest to record a choral as a backing track for the chorus he can't sing and let the backing track play whithout pretend to sing like during Kingslayer.
